Discover the French Riviera with Idiom

As group lessons take place in the morning, IDIOM offers afternoon activities and excursions, which you are free to join. Our social program is very varied and suitable for everyone, regardless of your age, your interests and your level of French.

Not only will you be able to explore the region, but also continue to practice your French outside of the classroom and meet other students. All our activities are free and accompanied by a school teacher.

Make the most of your French course at Idiom to visit Nice and discover the French Riviera and French culture with us!

You can also combine your French course with a sport (golf, tennis, fitness …) or cultural activity (creation of your own perfume at a famous perfumer in Grasse, cooking class or wine tasting…). Idiom has established many partnerships, our team will be at your disposal to advise you and help you organize your free time in Nice.

Here are some examples of our social programme

Nice and the Old Town
The Old Town of Nice is the historical centre as well as the heart of the city. Here you will find the famous flower market, restaurants and cafés, typical shops and a multitude of religious buildings. During the day we will guide you through the narrow streets to show you the rich history of this very special place.

Antibes, Cannes, Monaco, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat
Antibes, its old town with its provençal market, its sandy beaches and its Picasso museum… Cannes, its elegant shopping streets, the famous Croisette and the “îles de Lérins”… Saint Jean Cap Ferrat and its magnificent coastal path… Monaco, its harbor, its Casino and the Princely Palace…  Discover the most emblematic cities of the French Riviera !

Tasting of local specialities
Socca, farcis, pissaladière, tourte de blettes… You already know the famous “Salade niçoise”, but there are so many more local specialities to taste! Come with us in a typical restaurant in the Old Town to discover the smells and flavors of the local gastronomy.

Eze
This medieval village is a city of arts (many painters, sculptors, glass-blowers have installed their galleries and workshops here) and of perfume (Fragonard and Galimard have established here and propose guided visits of their factories). Eze is also home to an exotic garden overhanging the Mediterranean sea with one of the most breathtaking panorama of the Riviera.
