Nice and Cimiez

Cimiez is located on one of the hills of Nice and belongs to the absolute musts to be visited. During our stroll through this elegant quarter, ancient Roman capital of the Alpes Maritimes, you will catch a glimpse of the ruins of the ancient baths and the amphitheatre dating from the 1st century a.D., the Franciscan monastery and church from the 14th century – the gardens offer an unrestricted view of Nice. This residential area is also the shelter of the « Régina », architectural jewel of the « Belle-Epoque », where Queen Victoria used to stay during her numerous visits to Nice and the French Riviera.

Eze

This medieval village is the mecca of the art’s craft industry (many painters, sculptors, glass-blowers have installed their galleries and workshops here) and of the perfume industry (Fragonard and Galimard have become established here and propose guided visits of their factories). Eze also boasts an exotic garden overhanging the Mediterranean with one of the most breathtaking views of the Côte d’Azur.
